WELCOME TO THE ROSSMOOR DOG PARK

 LOCATION:  The Rossmoor Dog Park is in a fenced area located in the rear right corner of the parking lot adjacent to the Rossmoor Tice Creek Fitness Center at 1751 Tice Creek Drive, Walnut Creek, CA 94595.

Responsible Dog Guardians — and their well-behaved dogs — are always welcome at the Rossmoor Dog Park. Membership in the Rossmoor Dog Park Club (RDPC) is not required to enjoy the park. However, we do ask that all visitors share our commitment to keeping the park a safe, clean, friendly and respectful space for both people and pups.

RDPC members set the tone by modeling responsible behavior. We call this “The Pack Standard” — and it applies whether you’re a member or just visiting:

• Commitment – Dogs are family. Their needs come first.
• Nutrition – Fresh water and a balanced diet matter.
• Exercise & Stimulation – Regular walks, playtime, and mental engagement are key.
• Healthcare – Keep up with vet visits, vaccinations and grooming..
• Training & Socialization – Teach manners; help your dog feel safe and confident.
• Safety – Secure at home, leashed in public, always with ID.
• Love & Companionship – Attention, kindness     and respect go a long way.
• Respect for Others – Pick up poop promptly, control barking, and ensure your dog plays safely.

We all share the responsibility of keeping the park clean, calm, and cooperative. 

• No food or treats (for dogs or people) inside the park enclosure — this is for everyone’s safety.
• No glass containers allowed.
• Alcohol is strongly discouraged.
• The Dog Park is for dogs — not a picnic area.

The Rossmoor Dog Park Club (RDPC) is sanctioned by Rossmoor Walnut Creek.  Our mission is to maintain a welcoming, well-kept environment and to promote responsible dog guardianship throughout our community. We focus on:

• Establishing clear social guidelines for park users
• Supporting park maintenance and improvements
• Encouraging education, courtesy, and care for all dogs and their humans
• Supporting local dog rescue organizations like Muttville .
